Senators Announce Full Promotional Schedule

Harrisburg, PA - Value! Value! Value! There is not a better word to describe the Harrisburg Senators promotional line-up for the 2009 season. The Senators are pleased to announce the complete 2009 promotional calendar. A few weeks back the Senators announced the weekend promotions that feature Fireworks every Friday night and a giveaway every Friday, Saturday and Sunday game for the whole season!

The final pieces of the Senators promotional schedule are now in place and every day of the week is loaded with fun. Last year the Senators staff listened to what the community said they wanted in terms of promotions and we are extremely excited about the finished schedule. With the announcement of the rest of the promotional calendar, this is sure to be one of the most aggressive promotional lineups in the country.

The weekend value starts early in 2009. New in 2009 is 2 Buck Beers on the Boardwalk. Each Thursday game this season fans can purchase beers for only $2! What better way to get your weekend started than by coming to the ballpark with a group of friends and enjoying discounted drinks? The 2 Buck Beers on the Boardwalk Thursday Night promotion gets started with the home opener on April 16. The Senators will also be giving away 2009 Magnetic Schedules and Hard Hats to fans as they enter the park.

Every penny counts in these tough economic times and the Senators are now making it more affordable than ever to bring the family to the ballpark! Moms and Dads will be pleased with our new Kids Eat Free Monday Nights. Every Monday night game kids 13 and under will receive a voucher redeemable for a hot dog, chips, drink and dessert. But that's not all! All kids will also receive an Upper Deck MLB Die-Cast Truck! How's that for value?

Bingo. Doesn't everyone love bingo? Of course they do! Every Tuesday this year is Baseball Bingo night at Commerce Bank Park. If you've never played bingo as it relates to baseball, then you're missing out! A base hit to left field in the sixth inning just might be what it takes to fill out your bingo card and win the prize that night!

The final piece of the Senators 2009 value schedule is the "Cheap Gets Cheaper" Wednesday Night-Half Price GA Tickets presented by Ollie's Bargain Outlet. All general admission tickets on Wednesday Nights are only $2.50 each. How can you beat that entertainment value? You can't, so grab your friends and come on out! Wednesday's will also feature Senators theme nights that will be sure to add a little bit of spice to the evening.

"We are extremely excited about our promotional line-up for the 2009 season," said Harrisburg Senators President Kevin Kulp. "Along with the major renovations that are underway; it's going to make for a very exciting season for us. I hope that our fans enjoy the ballpark this summer. We recognize that in these uncertain economic times it is more important than ever to provide value. We think this is big step in the right direction. We will work tirelessly to enhance this calendar and make every night at the park both enjoyable and somewhat unique."

In case you've forgotten, weekends are extraordinary this year at Commerce Bank Park. Fridays are going to be fantastic with giveaways and fireworks every Friday. Saturdays are giveaway nights and include the World Famous Bucket Boys making an appearance on Saturday, July 11. The ever-popular Rally is making two appearances, Friday, June 26 and Saturday, August 1. Sundays are family days with kids 12 and under running the bases after each Sunday game. Sundays also have a giveaway and a pre-game catch on the field. All season long gates open 90 minutes before the first pitch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The exciting 2009 season opens on the road at Reading on April 9 with the home opener set for Thursday, April 16 at 7:00pm. Individual game tickets are set to go on sale Saturday, April 4.
