
Second Annual World Series Party Scheduled at AutoZone Park on Thursday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds are encouraging fans to join them at AutoZone Park on Thursday, October 25th to watch the National League champion San Francisco Giants and American League champion Detroit Tigers battle in Game 2 of the 2012 World Series with a party presented by Southland Park Gaming and Racing.
Season ticket holders have a chance to renew their seats for 2013 and receive a free buffet wristband and one drink ticket for each ticket renewed. All other fans will receive free admission to watch the game at AutoZone Park and can purchase the party buffet for $7.00 in advance and $10.00 (cash only) per person on the day of the game. Children 12 and under are free. The buffet includes Rendezvous BBQ, King Cotton hot dogs, Turner Dairy ice cream, and Coca-Cola soft drinks. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Game 2 will be shown on a big screen located on the Club Level and on the new HD videoboard. Other activities offered during the World Series Party include batting practice in the indoor cages, self-guided tours of the clubhouse and dugout, inflatables in the plaza (weather permitting), silent auction, and door prizes throughout the game. The Redbirds team store, the Backstop Baseball Emporium, will open as well.
Last year's event saw over 700 fans attend to watch the St. Louis Cardinals play the Texas Rangers on their way to the 2011 World Series Championship.
