
Chukchansi Park to Host World Series Watch Parties

FRESNO, Calif. - Chukchansi Park will host World Series Watch Parties in celebration of the San Francisco Giants reaching their second World Series in the last three years, the Fresno Grizzlies announced today. Games 1 and 2 along with Games 4-7 will be shownlive throughout Chukchansi Park, including on the stadium's video board, for local Grizzlies and Giants fans to attend and watch. Admission and parking to the World Series Watch Parties are free, and there will be prizes and giveaways for those in attendance. Concession stands and the Grizzlies Team Store will beopen for fans as well.
"We cannot wait to host Grizzlies and Giants fans at our "Ëhome' over the next week," said Chris Cummings, Managing General Partner and Team President of the Grizzlies. "As in 2010, the excitement and buzz surrounding the Giants in their push for the championship is contagious. Some former Grizzlies are playing in San Francisco, but we want to see local fans come out to Chukchansi Park and cheer on these Farm Grown stars from afar. We would also like to thank the City of Fresno for allowing us to open the facility for these celebratory days."
Each World Series game is slated to start at approximately 5 pm PST. Chukchansi Park will open for each game at 4:30 pm, except for game one which will have an opening of 4 pm. Fans may sit on the field or in the stadium's seats, but there are no assigned seats in either area. Parking is free in the H Street parking lot. Gate 2 (off of H Street) will be the main entrance for the World Series Watch Parties. No ice chests, coolers or outside food and drinks are allowed into Chukchansi Park for the events.

Game 1 - Wednesday, October 24th: 5:07 pm PST first pitch, Chukchansi Park gates open at 4 pm
Game 2 - Thursday, October 25th: 5:07 pm PST first pitch, Chukchansi Park gates open at 4:30 pm
Game 3 - Saturday, October 27th: 5:07 pm PST first pitch (GAME WILL NOT BE SHOWN AT CHUKCHANSI PARK DUE TO THE FALL WINE CORNUCOPIA)
Game 4 - Sunday, October 28th: 5:15 pm PST first pitch, Chukchansi Park gates open at 4:30 pm
Game 5 - Monday, October 29th: 5:07 pm PST first pitch*, Chukchansi Park gates open at 4:30 pm
Game 6 - Wednesday, October 31st: 5:07 pm PST first pitch*, Chukchansi Park gates open at 4:30 pm
Game 7 - Thursday, November 1st: 5:07 pm PST first pitch*, Chukchansi Park gates open at 4:30 pm
