Tonight, the SeaWolves will look to avoid being swept for the first time this season as they take on the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) in the final game of a three game series at Arm & Hammer Park. Yesterday, the SeaWolves failed to get the bats going again as they dropped the middle game of the series to Trenton 3-1. Erie has scored just two runs on eight hits in the first two games of the series...Erie has lost four straight games to the Thunder after beginning the season series 2-0...Right-hander Warwick Saupold makes his 11th start of the season and first against the Thunder. Saupold earned his fourth win in his last start against Akron on May 25. In the game, he allowed a run on two hits with three walks and two strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie won the game 4-1...RHP Mikey O'Brien takes the mound for Trenton making his fifth start and first against the SeaWolves. O'Brien took a no-decision in his last start against Bowie on May 25. In the game, he allowed two runs on six hits with four walks and six strikeouts in five innings of work. O'Brien began the season with Class-A Tampa where he made six starts going 1-2 with a 4.39 ERA...The SeaWolves have not been in first place this deep into a season since the club won the Western Division title in 2007.
