Everett AquaSox News Release

Seattle Mariners' pitcher Rafael Soriano is scheduled to pitch for the Everett AquaSox on Friday June 24 and Friday July 1, respectively, at Everett Memorial Stadium for injury rehabilitation assignments.

Soriano, of San Jose, DR, is expected to start during these two games. He will also be traveling with the team to Spokane and is expected to start the June 28 game.

He underwent "Tommy John" surgery on his right elbow on Aug. 17 last year and spent the remainder of the season rehabilitating after surgery.

Soriano was signed in 1996 as a non-drafted free agent by the Mariners.
