Seattle Set to Support OL Reign in Their NWSL Championship Match this Evening

SEATTLE, WA. - Today at 5:00 p.m. PT, OL Reign is set to take on NJ/NY Gotham FC in the 2023 NWSL Championship. The club has won three NWSL Shields since its inception in 2013 and are now searching for their first NWSL Championship at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego tonight.

To celebrate the club's big match, Seattle and the entire state of Washington will be supporting from home, hosting many watch parties around the state and showing their support around the city.

In honor of the match, some of Seattle's most iconic landmarks, including OL Reign's home Lumen Field, as well as Rainier Square, Seattle Convention Center Skybridge and Arch, T-Mobile Park and the Space Needle will light up in OL Reign blue and red.

In addition, several bars and pubs around the state will be hosting watch parties for the match. Fans who attend any of the watch parties in person have a chance to cheer the team on with others Reign fans and enter for their chance to win a pair of OL Reign Season Tickets for 2024. Fans are encouraged to arrive to their chosen destination early.

For fans who are unable to attend a watch party in person, OL Reign has put together a Watch Party Toolkit so fans are able to throw their own watch party. The toolkit includes trivia, coloring pages, party games, chants and more and can be accessed on OL Reign's website.

The match will air live on CBS, which can be accessed through a variety of cable package options, including select Comcast packages, or online streaming services. Streaming service options typically include a free trial period followed by a range of monthly subscription options.
