Seattle Acquires Picks from Pats

Seattle Thunderbirds News Release
KENT - The Seattle Thunderbirds have announced that the team has acquired a first-round pick in 2024, a second-round pick in 2023 and a third-round pick in 2025 from the Regina Pats in exchange for left wing Sam Oremba.
"It is tough to see a player of Sam's potential leave the organization," said General Manager La Forge. "We feel that this move was made possible by the solid depth that we have in our younger age groups. We wish Sam all the best moving forward."
Oremba was a first-round selection by Seattle in the 2020 WHL Draft. He played 73 games as a T-Bird and had six goals and fifteen assists for a total of twenty-one points.
The Thunderbirds next home game is a 2-for-Tuesday on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:05pm at the accesso ShoWare Center, located in Kent, WA.
