Mississippi Sea Wolves News Release

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced that the white Sea Wolves game-worn jerseys from the second half of the 2007-08 season are now up for auction on eBay.

"We're pleased to be able to offer our fans the chance to own a unique piece of memorabilia from the 10th anniversary season," said Sea Wolves president Bill Yates. "There's no better piece of merchandise a team can offer to a fan than their favorite player's game-worn jersey."

These jerseys were destined for Biloxi when Hurricane Katrina struck the area in August of 2005. When it was determined that the Sea Wolves would sit idle for the 2005-2006 season, the jerseys were sent to the ECHL league office in New Jersey where they were stored until the Sea Wolves' return to the ice this season.

Made by SP Apparel, the jerseys were worn in the second half of the 2007-08 season and the Kelly Cup Playoffs by Ryan Munce, Gio Flamminio, Mike Hartwick, Jason Tejchma, Torry Gajda, Mark Rooneem, Mike Couch, Marek Kvapil (blue jersey), Pat Oliveto, Mark Hurtubise, Travis Lisabeth, Chase Trull, Ryan Menei, Matt Deschamps, Zbynek Hrdel, Morgan Cey, Kyle McAllister, Jason Beeman and Chris Cava.

Also being auctioned are a helmet and glove signed by Sea Wolves players.

The auctions will end on Tuesday, April 29th and can be found by searching "Sea Wolves Hockey" on the eBay main page or by visiting http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=sea+wolves+hockey&category0.
