
Sea Wolves Sink RiverBlades

Arkansas RiverBlades News Release
The Mississippi Sea Wolves scored two third-period goals and defeated the Arkansas RiverBlades 4-3 Sunday in Biloxi.
Dean Stork kicked off the scoring with his 14th of the year at the 2:54 mark, assisted by Terry Marchant and Damon Whitten.
Then, at 6:11, Aaron Davis tipped the puck just enough to beat goaltender Greg Gardner for his 4th of the season to make it a 2-0 game.
Jason Bermingham would make it 3-0 under a minute later, tallying his 34th of the year at 7:05. Buddy Smith and Matt Pagnutti had helpers on the play.
The Sea Wolves would dent the lead at 11:21, as John Evangelista scored his 9th of the year short-handed to make it 3-1 after 20 minutes of play.
Sergei Kuznetsov scored the only goal of the second period, notching his 11th of the year on the power-play from Mike Scott and Chris Allen to make it a 3-2 game.
In the third, Kuznetsov struck again, this time connecting on his 12th of the season from Travis Lisabeth and Mike Scott.
Then Steffon Walby got the game-winner at 9:03, notching his 42nd goal from Cody Bowtell and David Cornacchia.
Mississippi outshot Arkansas 40-26 for the game, and were 1-for-7 on the power-play. The RiverBlades were 1-for-7 as well.
Jimi St. John made 36 saves in net for Arkansas, but took the loss. Greg Gardner stopped 23 to get the win for Mississippi.
