
Columbus' Bechard Suspended Two Games

PRINCETON, N.J. â The East Coast Hockey League announced on Sunday that it has suspended Columbus left wing Jerome Bechard for one game under Rule 56(a)(b) Instigator/Aggressor for his actions in ECHL Game # 907 at Augusta on March 22, and for one game under Rule 28(e) â Misconduct Penalties.
At 19:53 of the third period of ECHL Game # 907 at Augusta, Bechard was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 56(a)(b) which pursuant to ECHL rules is a minimum one-game suspension.
Bechard will miss Columbus' games vs. Charlotte (Mar. 23) and at Arkansas (Mar. 25).
