
Sea Wolves Acquire Paquet

BILOXI, Miss. â Bob Woods, general manager and coach of the Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that the team has acquired the rights to right wing Martin Paquet (PAH-keht) in a trade with the Long Beach Ice Dogs for future considerations.
Paquet, 26, split last season, his first in professional hockey, with the Dayton Bombers and Long Beach Ice Dogs of the ECHL. The 6-1 and 195-pound Paquet netted six goals, 26 points, 20 penalty minutes in 47 games with Dayton. A native of Ste. Catherine de la, Quebec, Paquet appeared in 26 games with Long Beach tallying six goals, 24 points, 18 penalty minutes and registered a team-high +10.
The Sea Wolves drop the puck on their ninth ECHL season on October 22 against the Louisiana IceGators at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
