The Saint John Sea Dogs (31-16-1-3) are facing off against the Halifax Mooseheads (26-25-1-1) in an afternoon matinee at TD Station today.
Saint John is coming off an 8-3 win over the Moncton Wildcats on Friday night. Goals came from William Dufour, Riley Bezeau, Raivis Kristians Ansons, Brady Burns, Philippe Daoust, Jérémie Poirier, and Connor Trenholm in the win, and Josh Lawrence racked up four assists at TD Station in the win.
Halifax also last played on Friday, losing 11-2 to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. James Swan and Evan Boucher scored the two goals for Halifax. Brady James made 27 saves on 25 shots and Mathis Rousseau made 1 save on 4 shots in the loss.
