Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
The Saint John Sea Dogs (44-17-1-3) are returning to TD Station to host the Cape Breton Eagles (14-44-4-3) in their second to last home game of the regular season tonight at 7 PM.
Tonight the Sea Dogs will honour the graduating players, Vincent Sévigny, Philippe Daoust, and Ryan Francis, in a pregame ceremony with their parents. Be sure to arrive early to celebrate the QMJHL careers of these three great players!
The Sea Dogs are on a 12 game win streak, most recently beating the Moncton Wildcats in Moncton on Saturday. The Sea Dogs outshot their rivals 42-22 in the 5-3 win on the road. Goals came from Olivier Picard, Peter Reynolds, Josh Lawrence, and William Dufour.
The Eagles have lost their last two games, playing Charlottetown on Tuesday, and Rimouski on Sunday. Goaltender Rémi Delafontaine earned the second star of the night in Tuesday's matchup after making 42 saves when the team was outshot 47-18 in a 5-3 loss.
Puck drop is at 7 PM, the doors at TD Station open at 6. Tickets are available at the TD Station Box Office. Please bring your tickets originally printed for December 28 to enter.
There are only TWO home games remaining in the regular season! Be sure to head to the TD Station Box Office to redeem any remaining flex tickets before the playoffs begin!
