Portland Sea Dogs News Release
Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs have declared Friday, April 27th as Opening Day, Again. Seven out of ten Sea Dogs home games this season have been postponed due to bad weather. Highlighting Opening Day, Again, will be a post-game fireworks show. The first 2,500 fans to enter the ballpark will receive a 2007 Sea Dogs Schedule magnet courtesy of Paul G. White Tile and a 2007 Promotional Schedule magnet courtesy of AIG. The Sea Dogs will also celebrate the milestone of raising Three Million Dollars for the Maine Children's Cancer Program through the Strike Out Cancer in Kids Program. This year's Slugger's Kid Andrew Cilea will throw-out the ceremonial first-pitch.
