Sea Dogs Reassign D'Orio, Pare

SAINT JOHN - General Manager Darrell Young announced today goaltender Alex D'Orio and forward Cedric Pare have been reassigned from the training camp roster for the Saint John Sea Dogs.

D'Orio was selected ninth overall by the Sea Dogs in the 2015 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft while Pare was chosen tenth overall.

"We were extremely pleased with the performances of both Alex and Cedric in our training camp this year," Young said. "These moves are designed to give them a chance to play a lot, and be ready to become big parts of our future here in Saint John."

The training camp roster now sits at 25 players: two goalies, eight defencemen and 15 forwards. These figures include defenceman Jakub Zboril, who is due to rejoin the team in September after training camp with the Boston Bruins.

Saint John's next preseason game is Friday, August 21st, at 7 p.m. against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at the KC Irving Regional Centre.
