SAINT JOHN, NB --- The Canadian Hockey League has released their latest Mosaik MasterCard Top 10 Rankings for Week #16 of the 2007-08 season. The Saint John Sea Dogs, the top-ranked team in the QMJHL East, placed tenth on the prestigious list.

This is the second time this season that Saint John has appeared on the CHL's Top 10 List. The only other teams from the QMJHL to appear in this week's rankings are the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's Top 10 are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts. The latest CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top 10 Rankings are:

1 - Kitchener Rangers, Ontario Hockey League: 35-5-1-2

2 - Spokane Chiefs, Western Hockey League: 31-8-1-3

3 - Vancouver Giants, Western Hockey League: 31-9-1-4

4 - Calgary Hitmen, Western Hockey League: 31-12-1-2

5 - Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League: 31-13-2-1

6 - Tri-City Americans, Western Hockey League: 31-10-1-2

7 - Sault Ste-Marie Greyhounds, Ontario Hockey League: 28-11-1-3

8 - Belleville Bulls, Ontario Hockey League: 28-9-3-2

9 - Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League: (31-12-1-4)

10 - Saint John Sea Dogs, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League: 25-10-1-2

The Sea Dogs' next home game is scheduled to take place on Friday night at 7:30pm and will see Saint John face the PEI Rocket on what has been designated 'Support the Troops Night'. Fans are encouraged to wear red to the game as a sign of support for the Canadian Forces.
