Sea Dogs Game Day: Sea Dogs vs Wildcats: 7 PM
December 9, 2022 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
The Sea Dogs annual Teddy Bear Toss returns to TD Station for the first time since the 2019-20 season tonight! We encourage all fans to bring a teddy bear to the game to throw when the Sea Dogs score their first goal of the night against the visiting Moncton Wildcats.
Puck drop is at 7 PM and doors open at 6 PM for this New Brunswick rivalry matchup. The teams have met three times so far this season, all in October, and the Sea Dogs will be looking to get the teddy bears flying early and get their first win against the Wildcats tonight.
The Sea Dogs are currently on a three game win streak thanks to good defensive play and strong performances in net, beating Drummondville 3-2 on the road last weekend and sweeping the season series against the Armada with a 3-2 OT win in Blainville Sunday and a 2-1 win at home on Wednesday.
Moncton currently sits in 12th place in the standings, playing last night and getting the win 3-2 over Bathurst at the Avenir Centre in Moncton. Thomas Auger, Etienne Morin, and Hugo Marcil got the goals in the win and rookie netminder Jacob Steinman made 27 saves.
Tickets for tonight's game are available online here, in person at the TD Station Box Office, or by calling 657-1234.
Game day programs are now online. Programs are posted 3 hours prior to puck drop.
Looking for a jersey, hat, or other gift for a Sea Dogs fan? The Sea Dogs Store opens 90 minutes before puck drop.
The pot for tonight's in game 50/50 is already growing!
