The One for All Festival presented by TD continues tonight with a Tina Turner tribute on the TD Stage to celebrate Black History Month and support domestic violence awareness initiatives in the Saint John area as the Sea Dogs host the Charlottetown Islanders.
The Sea Dogs will be looking to bounce back from an 8-2 loss against the third place Sherbrooke Phoenix last night. Goals came from Latvian forward Eriks Mateiko and Joseph Ianniello, who netted his first QMJHL goal in front of the crowd at TD Station.
The Islanders last played on Thursday, falling 4-0 to the Moncton Wildcats in Moncton.
This will be the first of two meetings between the Sea Dogs and Islanders this weekend. Both games will be important to the Sea Dogs in the overall standings as they currently sit 4 points behind the Islanders.
