Saint John Sea Dogs News Release

The Saint John Sea Dogs (42-17-1-3) are on the road to take on the Acadie-Bathurst Titan (39-18-3-3) tonight at 7 PM.

After the Titan's win against Sherbrooke last night, only three points separate the two Maritime teams in the standings. The Sea Dogs currently sit in third place in the QMJHL with 42 points and the Titan are close behind in fifth place overall.

The Titan went to a shootout against the fourth place Sherbrooke Phoenix last night, winning the game 3-2. Goals came from Miguël Tourigny and Bennett MacArthur in the win. Bathurst is led in scoring by Riley Kidney, who leads the league in assists with 67.

The Sea Dogs also topped the Sherbrooke Phoenix 3-2 in their last game on Tuesday. Ryan Francis and Connor Trenholm got in on all three goals and Thomas Couture made 26 saves in the win at TD Station.

There are only TWO home games remaining in the regular season! The Sea Dogs return home for an action-packed final two games against the Cape Breton Eagles April 28 and 29. Be sure to head to the TD Station Box Office to redeem any remaining flex tickets before the playoffs and the Run to the Cup presented by TD begin!
