Sea Dogs' 2010 Training Camp Roster Announced

Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
SAINT JOHN, NB --- Saint John Sea Dogs Director of Hockey Operations Mike Kelly announced today the full roster for the club's upcoming training camp, scheduled to begin next Wednesday, August 18 at Harbour Station. In total, 47 players will be taking part in this year's camp, including fifteen returnees, eleven 2010 draft picks, nine returning affiliates, eleven free agents, and one recent trade acquisition.
Of note, sophomore forward Tomas Jurco will not be attending this year's camp do to scholastic commitments in his native Slovakia. Jurco is expected to return to Canada during the opening week of September. Veteran defenseman Simon Després, meanwhile, has elected to remain in western Pennsylvania for the duration of camp in order to train with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team which selected him in the opening round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
