Sea Dawgs seek dance team coordinator

Wilmington, NC. The ABA Wilmington Sea Dawgs are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Dance Team Choreographer/Assistant Manager. This position is responsible for the choreography performance and assisting with the overall management of the Sea Dawgs Dance Team and reports to the Director of Operations, Promotions and Entertainment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
* Act as a liason between the dance team and the Sea Dawgs front office.
* Choreograph all dance team performances and routines.
* Schedule and direct rehearsals.
* Select and produce performance music.
* Work with front office staff to design and create costuming for dance team.
* Attend all Sea Dawgs games to oversee and manage dance team.
* Develop and sustain a strong relationship with local dance studios.
* Work with Sea Dawgs sponsors, community partners and broadcast partners.
* Pursue, schedule and choreograph out-of-arena appearances.
* Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS;
* Dance background and strong choreography skills required.
* Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
* Strong teamwork and relationship-building talents.
* Ability to work weekends and evenings - flexible schedule.
