Sea Dawgs News for the Week

February 14, 2008 - Premier Basketball League (PBL)
Wilmington Sea Dawgs News Release

A big thank you goes out to the PBL Traveling team who helped us out for the week's home games. Both the Dallas Defenders (Friday, February 8th home game) and the Rochester Razorsharks (Wednesday, February 13th game) were unable to fly in on time to play. The PBL Travelers team stepped up quite nicely and along with the Sea Dawgs played two great games for the fans. These two games will count in the league standings. The Rochester game will be rescheduled in early March in Wilmington. One additional away game (likely against Dallas or Jacksonville) will be dropped from the schedule (to be determined by the league) in order to maintain an even 20 regular season home games.

Off the Court

Be sure to catch "Salty" our mascot this Sunday at Monty's Pet Expo at the Schwartz Center. He will be giving out complimentary tickets to upcoming home games as well as signed autograph photos.

Upcoming Game News

The Sea Dawgs have a tough game on the road this weekend as they play the division-leading Rochester Razorbacks Saturday at 2:05 p.m. The next home game is Saturday, February 23 (8:00 p.m. start time). The February 22nd game, currently scheduled in Jacksonville, may be either dropped from the schedule or may be played instead at the PBL's upcoming talent showcase in Chicago in early March. The final schedule adjustments will be announced later this week.
