Sea Dawgs Announce Local Try Out Dates

Wilmington, NC --- In their inaugural season, the Wilmington Sea Dawgs won their division and made it the league Final Four. Now, with its sophomore season just several months away, they are looking to add new players to its roster.

The Wilmington Sea Dawgs is pleased to announce two opportunities to impress Coach Whitted and the Sea Dawg coaching staff. The dates are as follows: Saturday, September 22nd Saturday, October 20th

Interested players may arrive at the gym as early as 1:00 p.m. with tryouts running from 2:00 pm. until 6:00 p.m. at E.A. Laney High School in Wilmington. Candidates must be 18 years of age with a high school degree or equivalent. Players should wear appropriate shoes and clothing and come ready to compete. Registration forms will be available online starting September 4th.

"We hope to see many local players attend, as we believe there is a lot of basketball talent in the region." says Pete Gratale, co-owner of the team.

All registrations will be taken on-site prior to the start of each tryout at a charge of $75. All registration fees are non-refundable and payable by check or cash. Please be advised that participation in the open tryouts may jeopardize a player's NCAA eligibility. If you have any question about NCAA eligibility, please consult with your current basketball coach.
