Moline, IL - August 27, 2007 - The Quad City Riverhawks announced today that it has changed it's affiliation from the American Basketball Association (ABA) to the new Premier Basketball League (www.PBLpro.com).
The PBL will begin play in January 2008 and is comprised of well-funded partners and teams from proven top-caliber franchises.
The Riverhawks are excited to be joining a league that has the operating capital to ensure games, travel, and stability of the league. The PBL has created a plan for league growth at a logical and reasonable pace. A Board of Governors has been established to provide the teams input.
