Scrappers Set 2012 Schedule

NILES, OH - The Mahoning Valley Scrappers today released the schedule for the 2012 season. The Scrappers will open the 2012 season on the road Monday, June 18 against the Jamestown Jammers. The Scrappers home opener is Wednesday, June 20 against Jamestown. Wednesday's Opening Night festivities will be highlighted by a post-game fireworks show.

Additional highlights of the 2012 schedule include a home game on July 4 and the New York- Penn League All-Star Game on August 14 at Eastwood Field. This will be the first time the New York-Penn League All-Star Game is played at Eastwood Field.

The Scrappers, Class A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians play a 76 game schedule in the New York Penn League, including 38 home games at Eastwood Field.
