The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are excited to kick-off their 10th Anniversary season with Fan Fest on Saturday, May 17 from 10-4 at Eastwood Field. This is the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for the 2008 season.

Highlighting the festivities for the day is a Classic Car Show presented by Youngstown Rod and Custom, Cornhole Tournament sponsored by the Youngstown Parrot Head Club, a souvenir tent sale, batting practice, Fun Zone Games including a rock wall and obstacle course provided by Bounce-A-Round Rentals.

The Scrappers are also looking for performers. We will be holding open try-outs for National Anthem singers from 10-4. In addition, the Scrappers are looking for people to share their favorite

Scrappers memory. The footage will be used on the video board and in television commercials throughout the season.

Beginning the week of May 12, the Scrappers will release our full promotional schedule for the 2008 season. The promotional schedule will be released throughout the entire week.
