
Scott Returns After Career High Goal Season

Right winger Mark Scott, coming off a career high season in goals, has signed with the Tulsa Oilers for the 2006-07 season. It will be Scott's third stint with the Oilers.
He briefly played for the Oilers in the 1999-00 season, and again in 2003-04. Scott, 6-foot-4 215 pounds had 19 goals last season for the Roanoke Vipers of the United Hockey League. He is the fourth veteran player (280 or more professional games) to sign with the Oilers for this season.
"Mark Scott is a student of the game who has continued to improve his game year after year," Oilers coach Butch Kaebel said. "Starting his career as strictly a fighter, he's now emerged into a strong two way player that can put the puck in the net. We expect Mark to pick up where he left off last year, producing for us, and sticking up for his teammates."
"I think my game is at the highest level is been at and I'm excited to show the Tulsa fans how far I've progressed," Scott said.
The Oilers begin the regular season on Friday October 20th in Wichita. Their home opener is Saturday October 28th at 7:35 p.m. also against Wichita.
Oiler season tickets for the 2006-07 season are now on sale. The prices are the same as the 2005-06 season, ranging from $300 to $475. The Oilers have also instituted an automatic payment plan to make purchasing season tickets even easier and more convenient. Also new this year is a 10 game flex pack.
