K-Tribe left-hander Scott Lewis is the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, May 28th. Lewis gave up no runs in two starts last week, while striking out 11 batters and walking only one.

Lewis leads the Carolina League and all of Minor League Baseball with a 0.44 ERA....on the year Lewis is 1-1 with a 0.44 ERA. The K-Tribe starter has pitched 41 innings, giving up just two earned runs, while striking out 56 and walking only one. A limited pitch count due to an arm injury, has limited the number of wins Lewis has qualified for.
K-Tribe players have now won five of the eight Carolina League weekly awards given in the month of May.
