Scorps Camp Opens Three Days

[ RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-New Mexico Scorpions head coach Randy Murphy will lead his troops on the ice for the first time on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. Following the on-ice session the team will endure an afternoon off-ice workout.
The training camp schedule will be similar almost everyday. The Scorpions will take to the ice inside the SASC at 9:30 a.m. everyday except Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 when the team will be in Odessa for their lone exhibition game.
All Scorps fans are invited to attend training camp this year. Visitors are asked to park in the lot outside the Suite Entrance doors on the south side of the Santa Ana Star Center.
All spectators to training camp must seat in the "Stinger Zone," located on the suite level in the west end zone. No fans are allowed to be in the seating bowl during camp. The Scorpions staff will be around to assist any fans with questions during training camp practice.
The Scorpions open the season Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20 versus the Laredo Bucks. Mini-season ticket packages are on sale for as low as $63. When purchasing season ticket packages, each person receives special benefits that are exclusive only to our season ticket holders.
