Schmunk Added to TPT

Minot, ND - The Minot Minotauros are proud to announce that Ethan Schmunk has been added to the roster of Team South for the upcoming NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. He will join Jack Westlund, Jay Buchholz, Will Crull, and Nikolai Charchenko, who will all play for team Central, in representing the Tauros at the league All-Star event. The Top Prospects Tournament, which usually takes place in February, will run this year in conjunction with the Robertson Cup in Blaine, MN on June 19th and 20th.
Despite not joining the Minotauros until mid-January Schmunk finished fourth on the team in scoring with 26 points on nine goals and 17 assists. Schmunk added a goal and two more assists in the Tauros five game playoff series loss to Aberdeen. Prior to joining the Tauros Schmunk played 116 games in the BCHL for the Powell River Kings where he posted 25 goals and 29 assists.
