Schmit Signs, Senior Retires

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach, John Gibson, announced today that the team has signed defenseman Justin Schmit and placed forward Tristan Senior on the suspended list.

Schmit played in 12 games earlier this season for the Rocky Mountain Rage of the Central Hockey League. He had 118 penalty minutes. He played in 49 games for the Havoc last season and scored four goals and recorded seven assists. He finished third in the SPHL with 274 penalty minutes.

Senior has retired from professional hockey and is returning home to Bridgenorth, Ontario. He had played in 13 games and scored four goals and recorded 11 assists.

The Havoc will host the Columbus Cottonmouths tonight at 7:30 on CenturyTel Ice at the Von Braun Center.
