INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 2-seeded Indiana Fever will meet the Atlanta Dream, the East's No. 3 seed, in next week's Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Fever (20-12) and Dream (19-14) begin the East Semifinals next Friday, Sept. 28 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (7:00 p.m., ESPN2). A schedule follows:

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals is a Lucas Oil Family Night presented by The Indianapolis Star. Family Night tickets include a Fever t-shirt and a voucher for a hot dog, chips and a Pepsi product. The 2012 Indiana Fever playoffs are presented by Indiana Members Credit Union and Kroger.
Below are facts about the Fever and the upcoming WNBA Playoffs.
- In its first-round playoff matchup, the Fever is paired against the Atlanta Dream, the same team that ended Indiana's season in 2011, in the Eastern Conference Finals.
- It is the fifth time that Indiana has entered the playoffs with home-court advantage and one of the East's top two seeds.
- Indiana's eight-year run of reaching the postseason (2005-12) is tied with Los Angeles as the second-longest streak in league history. Seattle owns a current streak of nine years (2004-12) which is the league's longest.
- Indiana has reached the postseason nine times in the club's 13-year history. The Fever has reached the Eastern Conference Finals in four of the past seven years, with a trip to the WNBA Finals in 2009.
- Lin Dunn has earned her sixth playoff appearance overall as a WNBA head coach. She and Seattle's Brian Agler share the league's longest active playoff coaching streak with five straight appearances.
- The Fever is the first franchise in WNBA history to record 20 or more wins, seven times in an 8-year span.
- Indiana has joined the L.A. Sparks as the only teams ever to produce seven 20-win seasons in WNBA history.
- The streak of four straight seasons is an Eastern Conference record, breaking the Fever's own conference mark for consecutive 20-win seasons in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
- Indiana's 20-12 record is the second-best in the Eastern Conference and is virtually identical to the Fever's best seasons ever. Indiana won 21 games in each of 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. The Fever won a franchise-record 22 games in 2009.
A WNBA playoff participant in eight straight seasons and nine times since 2002, the Indiana Fever has advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals four times in the past seven years. The Fever celebrates Fan Appreciation Night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse when Indiana hosts the Tulsa Shock in its regular season finale on Sunday, Sept. 23 (6:00 p.m.). Indiana will host the Atlanta Dream in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Thursday, Sept. 27 or Friday, Sept. 28.
