Schedule for Baie-Comeau Series Announced

SAINT JOHN, NB --- The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has unveiled the schedule for Round Two of the 2012 President's Cup Playoffs.
The top-seeded Saint John Sea Dogs open their quarter-final series at home against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Friday, April 6 (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday, April 7 (7 p.m.). Games 3 and 4 (and 5, if necessary) will take place in Baie-Comeau on April 10, 11 and 13. If necessary, the Dogs would return home for Games 6 and 7 back at Harbour Station on April 16 and 17.
It will be the first playoff matchup between the two teams. Saint John advanced to the second round by sweeping the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles for the second consecutive year, scoring 34 goals in four games, a team record for a playoff series. The Drakkar, meanwhile, entered the playoffs as the 13th seed but completed a stunning upset, sweeping the No. 4 Victoriaville Tigres in four straight games. Victoriaville finished with the third-best record in the regular season and won the Luc Robitaille Trophy as the highest-scoring team with 311 goals. Baie-Comeau had a record of 29-34-1-4 during the regular season, including three losses to the Sea Dogs, who finished first at 50-15-0-3.
