Savannah Heebner Announces Retirement

ROSEMONT, Ill. - Chicago Bandits pitcher Savannah Heebner has announced her retirement from professional softball.
"We will miss Savannah and the camaraderie she brought to the room," Bandits AGM Jourdan Skirha said. "Her attitude always kept everyone in good spirits. We wish her the best in her next adventure."
While in Chicago, Heebner had 27 strikeouts in 31.2 innings pitched, good for an ERA of 2.87. She also assisted on all 11 fielding chances she was met with, holding a perfect fielding percentage.
Heebner was drafted 24th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2019 NPF Draft out of the University of Houston.
Heebner received numerous honors in her time in Houston, including American Athletic Conference Co-Pitcher of the Year (2018), three AAC First Team honors (2016-18), National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region First Team (2017) and NFCA All-America Second Team (2018).
