Sauk Valley Predators receive 2nd pick for today's PBL draft

Sauk Valley Predators News Release


The PBL completed its' draft today and the Sauk Valley Predators secured the 2nd pick from the November 10th lottery drawing. "We were extremely excited to get that 2nd pick and were equally excited to select Justin Tubbs, a 6'3 guard from East Tennessee State Buccaneers" said Leah Grenoble, Owner and Director of Operations for the Predators. "When you have that much talent up for grabs it can be a pretty difficult decision."

Keeping that in mind, the Predators chose Ricky Reed, a 5"9 guard from Medaille College as their 2nd round selection. "We already felt we have an outstanding team built, but adding additional talent will really give us the confidence we want moving forward". "We believe that we have a solid chance in being the best team in our division and we look forward to sharing that with the Sauk Valley community" stated Brad Grenoble, Owner and General Manager for the Predators.

The draft was publicly broadcasted on the @SportsTV website ( www.AtSportsTV.com) which allowed fans and family of draft selections to tune in live. With the NBA still in the lockout mode, the PBL is doing everything they can to keep the basketball vibe alive.
