
Saturday Night is College Night at WakeMed Soccer Park

Cary, NC (Monday, April 13, 2009) - The Carolina RailHawks are off to a great start of the 2009 USL-1 campaign after defeating the Minnesota Thunder 2-1 on Saturday, April 11. This coming Saturday, April 18, at 7:00 p.m. they take on rivals from New York, the Rochester Rhinos. Tickets ($10, $15 and $20) are available at the LGFCU Box Office by calling 919-859-KICK (5425) or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com.
For the occasion the RailHawks are providing a special offer for all students of area colleges. Students who show their college ID at the box office will be able to purchase two spectator tickets for the price of one. That is two spectator seats for only $10. In addition the first 20 students who take advantage of this special offer will get their seats upgraded to the Club level at no additional charge.
This a great opportunity for college students to come and see local alumni such as UNC's Caleb Norkus, NC State's Aaron King and Wake Forest's Amir Lowery as they continue to excite crowds with their athletic ability. College students are encouraged to take advantage of this special offer and come down to WakeMed Soccer Park this Saturday, April 18, for the showdown with the Rochester Rhinos.
After the match all fans are encouraged to visit Spirits Pub & Grub, the Official Post-Game Headquarters of the Carolina RailHawks. Spirits will be offering 50% off wings and pickle chips to all students who show their college ID. Spirits is located at 701 Chatham Street in Cary less than half a mile down the road from WakeMed Soccer Park.
With the USL-1 season under way the Carolina RailHawks' 2009 season ticket drive is in full swing with the "All-Inclusive" package, that includes all USL-1 matches, all US Open Cup matches and all MLS and International exhibitions, as well as other packages tailored to every soccer fan's needs.
