Saturday Night Bucs Host Sticks & Sips, Postgame Skate

URBANDALE, Iowa - The Des Moines Buccaneers play a pair of Dupaco Cowbell Cup games this weekend, on the road at Waterloo on Friday, and back at Buccaneer Arena Saturday against Dubuque, with a postgame skate to follow.

Saturday night includes a full slate of events for Buccaneers fans, beginning with Sticks & Sips Whiskey Tasting with Templeton Distillery in the Buccaneers Lounge from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sticks & Sips is an exclusive whiskey tasting with some of Templeton's top-shelf selections, along with your favorite Templeton Rye cocktails.

Season ticket holders can purchase this in advance at the Ticket Office, or in-person the night of the event in the Lounge.

The postgame skate on Saturday night is open to all ages, but anyone going on the ice will need to complete a release form, which will be available at the Fan Relations table on the concourse. Please complete the form as early as possible during the game, to leave as much time as possible at the end of the game to skate with the team on the ice!

The Buccaneers are also hosting a Food Drive for the Urbandale Food Pantry. All fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to donate. Fans who donate 3 items can purchase a General Admission ticket for just $8 at the ticket office.

It's a Fleet Farm Saturday! Fans can purchase a 4-pack of arena level tickets and get a Fleet Farm gift card and goodie bag for just $50. Fleet Farm 4-packs can be purchased online or by calling or visiting the box office.

Every Bucs home game includes great drink specials from our partners Templeton Distillery. The Templeton Timeout Bar is located behind the North goal and features great Templeton beverages along with craft beers on tap. During any penalty called during the game, fans can get 2-for-1 drinks exclusively at the Templeton Timeout Bar. The Buccaneers and Templeton have also partnered on co-branded mason jars, great for a drink during the game plus it's a take-home item. Mason jars are on sale at all alcoholic beverage locations in the arena, $15 for a drink in the jar, and available for $10 without a drink.
