
Sargis Named Sons of Hockey Star of the Week

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Danville Dashers forward Gehrett Sargis has been selected as the Sons of Hockey Star of the Week for the period ending Jan. 10, 2016.
Sargis tallied two goals and three assists for five points in two weekend games, helping the Dashers gain two wins on the weekend.
Sargis recorded three assists in the Dashers 6-5 overtime win versus Berlin on Friday Night. Gehrett then followed his three point game with two goals on Saturday in a 4-2 win over Danbury.
A 26-year-old native of Midlothian, IL, is in his second professional season. Currently sitting 6th in FHL scoring, Sargis currently has 12 goals, 20 assists for 32 points and a plus/minus of +20.
Before joining the Dashers, Sargis completed four season for Robert Morris University of the ACHA.
