
Santa Cruz Warriors Add Stefhon Hannah

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired guard Stefhon Hannah as a returning player.
Hannah, 28, most recently appeared in 19 games with JuveCaserta in the Italian Lega A, the top basketball league in Italy, where he averaged 10.0 points and 4.2 assists in 29.6 minutes per contest. The 6-1, 175-pound guard appeared in 49 games last season with the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 14.0 points, 5.1 assists and 2.0 steals (third best in the NBA D-League). Hannah is the reigning NBA D-League Defensive Player of the Year, having earned the honor for the second season in a row last year. He was a member of the NBA D-League Select Team at NBA Summer League last summer, where he averaged 13.0 points and 2.6 assists in five games. A product of Missouri, Hannah was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year in 2007.
