Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release
Fargo (ND) Santa Claus himself will be in attendance at the Fargo-Moorhead Jets home game this Saturday night at John E. Carlson Coliseum, taking wish lists and handing candy out to fans.
The first place FM Jets face the Minnesota Blizzard at 7pm in a North American Hockey League matchup. Throughout the game, Santa Claus will meet with fans in attendance and take the holiday wishes of all the young fans (including those that are young at heart).
Fans are encouraged to bring their own camera to take photos of both themselves and friends with Santa Claus.
Santa Claus' visit is being made possible by a group of MSUM Sports Promotion Class students, who were able to secure the jolly man's appearance.
The Fargo-Moorhead Jets (16-7-1) currently lead the NAHL's Central Division, and have the fourth best record in the entire league. The team is also sporting a nearly 20% increase in attendance from this point last season.
The FM Jets are the 2005 Borne Cup Champions and are in their third season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 30th year of operation.
Jets home games are played at the John E. Carlson Coliseum in Fargo, ND. All games are broadcast at STAR 103.9 and fmjets.com.
