Sankey Named UIF Offensive Player of the Week

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rock River Raptors of the United Indoor Football (UIF) league announced today that QB Ben Sankey has been named UIF Offensive Player of the Week.

Sankey completed 27-of-29 passes for 288 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions in Bloomington Friday night. He also had one rushing touchdown, as the Raptors beat the Extreme 53-20. He is currently the league leader with 50-of-62 passes completed for 545 yards, nine touchdowns and no interceptions.

The Raptors next home game will be April 14, when the Evansville BlueCats come to town.
