UIF In the News: While Sioux City drew the week two bye, the Bandits were in the news early this week with a head coaching change after Rich Britt's resignation. The Sioux City Journal covered the story.

Bloomington had the bye in week one, but the extra week's practice wasn't enough with quarterback Dusty Burk injured. The Pantagraph reported on the Extreme's struggles to fill the QB spot. UIF has another player headed to a higher level. The Extreme's Quince Holman will be making his was to the CFL. Radio station AM 1230 WJBC posted the news on their website.

Omaha is off to a 2-0 start. The Omaha World-Herald gave the Beef their due.

The Billings/Sioux Falls matchup lived up to the hype. The Billings Gazette had the preview.
