
San Rafael Pacifics Wind Down Spring Training Schedule

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (May 28, 2012) - The San Rafael Pacifics will wind down their 2012 Spring Training this week, culminating with an exhibition game this Friday, June 1 against the East Bay Lumberjacks, and the Pacifics Inaugural Gala on Sunday, June 3.
The Lumberjacks, members of the Fontanettis Baseball League, are a semi-pro team featuring nine former affiliated minor leaguers, as well as former San Francisco Giants pitcher, Wayne Franklin.
Fans are invited to Albert Park for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch, and gates will be open at 6 p.m. Please come out, enjoy samples of our ballpark cuisine and celebrate the unofficial welcome of professional baseball to Marin County.
On Sunday, the Pacifics host their Inaugural Gala where fans can come out to Albert Park at 4:30 p.m. for batting practice. At 6 p.m., the doors will open to the San Rafael Community Center where fans can get autographs from Pacifics players and coaching staff, bid on team-inspired silent auction prizes, partake in a raffle and enjoy beer, wine, refreshments and the enjoy the sweet sounds of the Jack Straw Blues Band.
San Rafael Mayor Gary Phillips, Pacifics owners Brian Clark and Eugene Lupario, and the Pacifics' front office will also be in attendance to ring in the Inaugural Season.
Tickets to the Gala are $75 for guests 21-years and older, $40 guests for under 21. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Friend of Albert Park fund, benefiting the many Park's improvement projects.
