San Jose Skyrockets donate to Katrina disaster relief

San Jose, CA. The ABA San Jose Skyrockets today announced that they will donat 10% of all season ticket sales revenue to the Katrina Disaster Relief Fund to help the victims of the hurricane. "We want to help the victims of this tragedy to get back on their feet," said Kazumi Hasegawa, the Skyrockets CEO and President. "We will give a 10% discount on season ticket purchases and also donate an additional 10% of all season ticket revenue collected by October 31st to the Disaster Relief Fund and will encourage oher teams in the league to do the same."

The San Jose Skyrockets home opener will be November 18th against the Orange County Buzz at the San Jose Civic Auditorium. Following the game, there will be a 5th Quarter "Meet and Greet" the players, the dance team and staff at a location to be announced.

"We are looking forward to an exciting season with 18 home games at the San Jose Civic Auditorium and will provide the community with an exciting brand of professional basketball," said Hasegawa. "The team will be dedicated to providing an entertaining, action-packed game and to attaining an ABA championship for San Jose."
