Greenville, MS. James Britton, General Manager of the ABA Mississippi Stingers professional basketball team today announced that the team would hold its final tryouts on Saturday, September 24th in Greenville.

According to Britton, "As you know, we have been very busy and very involved with the Katrina relief efforts; we are doing everything we can to help and the situation for so many is so dire. But, we do need to find a few good players to fill our roster and to make sure we are as competitive as last season - and as you know, we were very very good. So, we'll take the day off and invite players to our tryout camp. For more information about the camp, either email me at brittonss87@aol.com or all me at 262 332 0422 and I'll provide all of the details. Repeat. We do have some open slots; it will be a good and competitive camp. Call or email now."
