(SAN JOSE, CA) - The JetHawks stayed close until the fifth inning but a series of home runs by the Giants helped San Jose to a 10-3 victory Thursday afternoon, evening the series at one win apiece.

Twice the Giants took leads only to see the JetHawks come back. Down 1-0 in the second inning, J.C. Thompson led off the frame with a single and scored on a RBI double by Andy Simunic. Lancaster trailed by a run again in the fifth inning when Simunic and Rene Garcia opened with singles. Austin Wates drew a walk to load the bases and when Adam Bailey followed with a walk of his own, the JetHawks had tied the score once again.

The JetHawks could not come from behind a third time. The Giants hit a two-run homer in three straight innings to pull away for the win. Lancaster added just one more run the rest of the game on a solo home run by David Flores in the eighth.

Colt Pitkin threw a scoreless inning and 2/3 out of the bullpen.
