San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants kickoff their 2014 home schedule with a seven game homestand starting Thursday, April 10 at 7:00 PM against the Bakersfield Blaze. With four games against the Blaze and three versus the Inland Empire 66ers the opening homestand will feature great baseball, exciting new promotions and fun for the entire family. On Opening Night, the first 4,000 fans through the gates will receive a Magnet Schedule and Photo Frame. Then, on Saturday, the first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a box of Imagine Chocolates. One box will contain an Ultimate VIP Experience to a future game. The weekend will conclude with the third annual Salute to the Military Day, presented by Operation: Care and Comfort, and the first 1,000 fans into the ballpark will receive a commemorative Military Trading Card Set.

Postgame Fireworks Extravaganza presented by State Farm: The Giants 2014 Fireworks Extravaganza schedule begins with the first show immediately following their Opening Night game on Thursday, April 10 against the Bakersfield Blaze, presented by State Farm. State Farm Night: Fans looking to come to Thursday night's home opener and Saturday's 5:00 PM game can visit local State Farm agencies to receive complimentary tickets. Visit sjgiants.com for a list of participating agents.
Magnet Schedule and Photo Frame Giveaway: The first 4,000 fans through the gates on Opening Night will receive the 2014 San Jose Giants magnet schedule, courtesy of Alliance Credit Union, Pepsi and Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

Imagine Chocolate Box Giveaway: On Saturday, April 12 the first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a box of Imagine Chocolates. One box will contain an Ultimate VIP Experience to a future game which includes four box seats, four Turkey Mike's BBQ meals, opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at a future San Jose Giants game and 2014 Team Autographed Baseball.
Martinelli's Apple Juice Kids Run the Bases: Following the conclusion of both Saturday and Sunday's games, kids are invited down onto the field to run the bases, courtesy of Martinelli's Apple Juice.
Salute to the Military Day presented by Operation: Care and Comfort: The third annual Salute to the Military Day, presented by Operation: Care and Comfort, will take place on Sunday, April 13. Salute to the Military Day will be an entire afternoon dedicated to honoring the brave men and women defending our country as the pregame festivities will include a first pitch ceremony, color guard presentation and on-field recognition of individuals chosen for the Military Trading Card Set. The team will also wear special military themed jerseys. The team will don these jerseys again on Memorial Day, May 26 against the Visalia Rawhide, where they will be part of an in-game silent auction directly benefiting Operation: Care and Comfort. On May 26, each of the highest bidders will be able to go on the field following the game and receive their new autographed jersey right off the respective San Jose Giant's back.
Military Trading Card Set Giveaway, featuring WWII Veteran Joe Bell, presented by Operation Care and Comfort: The first 1,000 fans through the gates on April 14 will receive a commemorative Military Trading Card Set, presented by Operation: Care and Comfort. All branches of the United States Military are represented in the set. In addition, the trading cards include current military personnel, men who have been killed in action as well as veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and Gulf Wars. Included in the set are local San Jose heroes Joe Bell and Pat Tillman.
Camouflage Military Jersey Auction: The San Jose Giants will wear special Camouflage Jerseys on Salute to the Military Day and Memorial Day during the 2014 season. Fans will be able to "buy now" or bid on these jerseys during in game jersey auctions on April 13 and May 26, with the winners getting to go on the field following the game on May 26 to retrieve their jersey right off the respective player's back. Proceeds from the jersey auction will go to Operation: Care and Comfort.
KBAY's Giant Sunday: Sunday is also the first KBAY Giant Sunday of the season. Fans can visit kbay.com to print out their KBAY Family Four Pack for Sunday's game. Merchant Night: Fans should be on the lookout at local businesses and stores for complimentary tickets to the 7:00 PM game on Monday, April 14 and 12:35 PM game on Wednesday, April 16 against the Inland Empire 66ers.
OSH Merchant Night: Fans can pick up complimentary admission tickets to the game on Tuesday, April 15 or Wednesday, April 16 at their local, participating OSH stores one week prior to the game. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis, while quantities last.
Tech Tuesday: April 15 will be the San Jose Giants first Tech Tuesday of 2014! Show your employee ID from any Silicon Valley Tech Company at the Municipal Stadium Box Office and receive a Buy One Get One Free General Admission or Upper Reserved ticket offer.
