
San Jose Earthquakes Decline Options for Six Players

San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has declined options for six players, including: Nana Attakora, Dan Gargan, Evan Newton, Marcus Tracy, Peter McGlynn and Cesar Diaz Pizarro.
Attakora made eight appearances for the Earthquakes after signing with the club on Feb. 22, 2013. The Canadian international made 14 appearances between his two seasons in San Jose, 2011 and 2013.
Gargan made eight regular season appearances for the Earthquakes and started in three of the club's four CONCACAF Champions League group matches. He arrived in San Jose through the 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft and signed on Jan. 25, 2013.
Tracy made five appearances during his two years in San Jose while Diaz Pizarro had one. Newton and McGlynn did not make a first-team appearance during their time with the club.
