San Diego Wildcats Host First Round of ABA Playoffs as an Impressive Inaugural Season Ends
March 9, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
San Diego Wildcats News Release
San Diego, CA -- The Wildcats (16W-9L) closed their first season in the ABA powerfully. San Diego was rewarded with a first round playoff game at home against the Maywood Buzz (13W-15L). The game will be held Wednesday, March 14, at San Diego High School at 7:30pm.
The playoff setup for the ABA is single game elimination, which adds tension to both teams. The match up between the teams has been even with the regular season series being knotted at two victories a piece. This will be the ultimate tie breaker to prove which team is better to move on in the post season. The Wildcats are lead by ABA All-Star Cardell Butler as they push to have an impact in their first playoff.
