Selden, NY. And this includes PLAYOFF games. The ABA Strong Island Sound, Long Island's only home team, would like to extend this invitation to all Youth Organizations to come out and cheer on your team in exciting ABA action.
With it looking more and more like a post-season drought for the local NBA teams, the Sound will be a playoff team for the second time in as many seasons in the league. Having the ABA right in your own backyard, you can enjoy an affordable night out with the family at a professional sporting event.
All Youth Organization personnel will be admitted for only $5.00. The entire team can come to the game at these prices! And parking is always FREE, as are the game programs.
Always a family atmosphere, the Sound entertain even during breaks in the action. Keep your eyes open for our team mascot, Shayken Bayke, and dance team, the Sound Dancers. Crowd Interaction with activities, challenges, and t-shirt toss. Following the game, come down on the court and meet the players during our autograph session.
The Sound are currently 18-12 and tied for first place in the ABA's Blue Central Division. Last season, the team went all the way to the Final Four after winning their first three playoff games.
